Burgess Rawson auction to shed light on buyer appetite

After a bumper year in 2016, childcare centres and service stations are set to once again headline the first Burgess Rawson Sydney portfolio auction of the year.

Both assets were hot-ticket items last year as yields dipped to record-low levels and offshore buyers began targeting them for their long-term stability and growth prospects.

Other highlights of Tuesday’s auction include two regionally-based, government-tenanted buildings, and two hardware stores, in Penrith and on the Central Coast.

It won’t all be commercial properties either, with a block of nine tenanted units in the NSW town of Griffith also going under the hammer. Prospective buyers will need to register if they intend to bid.
