Southern Cross Hydroponics is a hydroponics operation located at Mutdapilly in South East Queensland. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a recently constructed state of the art hydroponic operation, purpose built for any hydroponic endeavour, including growing lettuce varieties, Asian vegetables and infrastructure in place for vine crop production including tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. The necessary processing, storage and transport infrastructure is in place and operational.
Production ceased at Southern Cross Hydroponics in February 2017 after less than 12 months of operation and as the site has been fully maintained to new condition, it will allow the new owner to grow the produce of their choice as well as expansion potential to utilise the full capacity of the site. Other considerations for Agricultural tourism (Kiosk, camping) could be made to utilise traffic flow on one of the busiest highways to and from Brisbane.
The site consists of approximately 32 hectares of dual road frontage including 750 metres to the Cunningham highway. "Autogrow" automated Fertigation system servicing 120,000 hydroponic plants with 2 hectares (20,000 m2) of 12mm quad netting in place and a fully operational reverse Osmosis system and water license providing ample clean water to SC Hydroponics.
For genuine sale (deceased estate).
