Petrol stations, childcare centres set to dominate latest Burgess Rawson auction

A high-end retail property in Sydney’s Rushcutters Bay has been snapped up for $3 million in an eleventh-hour deal just before it was scheduled to go under the hammer.

The property, which sold on a 7 per cent yield, is a late scratching from today’s Burgess Rawson Sydney portfolio auction line-up.

Cassgrain Winery in Port Macquarie, one of the 20 properties in the line-up, is drumming up strong interest from buyers, according to Burgess Rawson.

Also on the list are five petrol stations and five childcare centres – one of which, in the Canberra suburb of Rivett, is a mere block of land with designated building approval – with the popular asset classes expected to drive plenty of bidding.

Properties designated for auction are listed below in order of sale.

Commercial Real Estate will be broadcasting live from the event via our Facebook channel.

Bidding for the childcare portfolio will commence at 1pm.
