LEASING

Silverwater

Lantrak NSW Pty Ltd has leased a 297-square-metre office at Suite 1, Level 1, Small Office Tower, Gateway Business Park, 63-79 Parramatta Road at $300 per square metre net for five years from a private investor. Mark Cadman from Link Property Services negotiated the lease.

Lidcombe

Nan Electrical Cable Australia, a subsidiary of Chinese industrial giant Guangdong Nanyang Cable Group Holding Co. has leased a 3,970-square-metre industrial warehouse with office space at 6 Carter Street from a furniture importer. The lease term is two years. Rental was undisclosed however rates in the area generally range from $125 to $145 per square metre for this property type. Phillip Bradac and Tony Durante at Colliers International, negotiated the lease.

Smithfield

Streets Ahead Maintenance has moved into a 770 sq m facility at 3/8 Cooper Street. The firm, which specialises in road network maintenance projects, has signed a two-year lease for a net rent of $125 per sq m. The modern-style unit with warehouse and office space is located in Smithfield’s industrial precinct, near the Cumberland Highway and a short drive from the M4 motorway. CBRE’s John Tsoutsa and Janet Joljian managed the campaign on behalf of the outgoing tenant.

Ingleburn

GNL Steel have leased 1,842 square metres from a private investor at 1 Garner Place for $115 per square metre net. The deal was negotiated by Michael Mileto and Paul Mileto from Link Property Services.

Chester Hill

Kon Holdings Pty Ltd has picked up a 6648-square-metre industrial facility on land area of 2.25ha at 107-109 Orchard Road for $15 million. JLL’s Matt Keeping brokered the deal off-market on behalf of a private investor.

Frasers Property Australia has appointed Tod O’Dwyer as its new general manager WA Residential. Mr O’Dwyer has more than 30 years of experience in the residential development sector, focused primarily on the development of masterplanned communities. He has relocated to Perth from Melbourne, where he has held the role of general manager – development and design for the past nine years.
