
A slew of Sydney CBD leases
Sydney psychiatrist Michael Waring has leased a 29 square metre office at level 5 of 155 King Street in the Sydney CBD for three years. The rent is confidential but gross annual rents in the building known as Trust Building, formerly the Daily Telegraph Building, are about $950 to $1200 a square metre.
Dr Waring struck the deal with landlord Robert Gregory Jewellers.
Ray White’s Naomi Vilar brokered the deal.
Cashed up
Online financial services business Cashwerkz has moved to a newly leased 286 square metre office on level 3 at 66 Clarence Street from King Street Wharf in the Sydney CBD.
Gross annual rents in the building range from $775 to $950 a square metre.
Ray White’s Anthony Harris negotiated the four-year lease for a private landlord.
Two more
Cosmetic business Face Shop has leased a 98 square metre office with balcony at The Rialto, a 42-level building at 327 Pitt Street in the Sydney CBD on a gross annual rent of $60,000.
Landlord Guomin Sin agreed to a two-year lease.
Also in Sydney, Migration firm Effective Processing Migration Australia has secured a 139 square metre office at Level 1 of 38 York Street on a gross annual rent of $62,370 to accommodate an expansion.
The 18-month lease at the seven-level building was struck with landlord WTL Enterprises.
Ray White’s John Skufris closed both deals.
GPT lease
The GPT Group has signed up Diam International on a five-year lease of an industrial unit at 290 Salmon Street, Port Melbourne.
The net annual rent for the 1505 square metre property is $248,490. It also features a 300 square metre showroom and hardstand.

Westside deals
Autobahn and Bridgestone have leased two showroom units at 1256 Aramdale Road, Armadale in Western Australia, for store expansions.
The properties are 382 square metre and 395 square metres in size respectively, leased for net annual rents of $85,950 and $98,750 over five years.
Vend Property’s Jeff Klopper represented a private landlord.
Bigger and wider
Multinational manufacturer Bauer Kompressoren has agreed terms on a five-year lease with options on a warehouse at 19 Cavasinni Place, Wetherill Park in the Sydney’s west.
The property with dual roller shutter doors on a 2264 square metre site will provide more space for the growing business.
LJ Hooker’s Aymen Sobbi and Marcel Elias negotiated a net annual rent of $129 a square metre for a private landlord.
Fitter
Fitness group World Gym has expanded into regional Queensland opening its first outlet there at a newly leased 1076 square metre retail showroom at 7 Johanna Boulevard in Bundaberg.
CBRE’s Andrew Brimson brokered the 10-year lease, with gross annual rents in the area said to be around $200 a square metre.
Two in one
Henkell Property Group has secured Zirco Data and the NDIS as new tenants at its office building at 973 Nepean Highway in Melbourne’s Bentleigh.
The 705 to 750 square metre spaces were leased at net rents of between $280 and $310 a square metre for five years.
Colliers International’s Damien Adkins and Michael Darvell marketed the properties.
