Knight Frank on behalf of the Macquarie Point Development Corporation (Corporation) is pleased to present one of the most highly anticipated development sites, The Escarpment at Mac Point for freehold sale.
The Escarpment will be the first in a multi-stage land release by the Corporation and presents an unprecedented opportunity to invest in one of the countrys most prized locations.
The Escarpment comprises approximately 8,797 sqm of freehold land, with three building envelopes totalling approximately 6,676 sqm. The site falls under the Sullivans Cove Planning Scheme 1997 and is zoned mixed use.
The overall development potential of Mac Point includes; commercial space, an exhibition venue, an arts and cultural precinct, including a dedicated and world-class Antarctic and Science Precinct, accommodation, tourism infrastructure and a fifty percent allocation for public open space.
The Escarpment sale and development will be transacted over a two-stage process (the Competitive Bid Process). Stage 1: a Request for Expression of Interest (REOI); and Stage 2: a Request for Proposals (RFP).
The REOI stage of the Competitive Bid Process enables proponents to put forward and articulate their proposition of the broad development concept, including an overview of the expected use, scale and nature of the development, anticipated timing of the proposed development, development credentials and experience, financial standing and capacity of the proponent, and an indicative offer (purchase price) for The Escarpment. Invitations to the second stage will be based on assessment against the Corporations Evaluation Criteria as detailed in the REOI.
Further information, including REOI documents and data room access are available by application via Knight Frank.
