World's tallest hotel set to open in Dubai
Dubai is set to welcome a new architectural landmark with the opening of Ciel Dubai Marina. Standing at 377 metres and 82 floors high, the tower, which is set to open in November this year, will claim the title of the world’s tallest hotel and redefine the skyline of the city famed for innovative architecture.
Designed by award-winning architects Norr, Ciel Dubai Marina is distinguished by its “eye of the needle” form. The property will feature 1004 guest rooms and suites, each with floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic views of the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and the waters of the Persian Gulf.
On the top floor, guests will have access to what is said to be the world’s highest infinity pool and sky lounge, offering a breathtaking vantage point across Dubai’s impressive landscape. Complementing this are eight dining venues, ranging from global buffets and cafes to a multilevel Asian restaurant and internationally renowned culinary brands.
“Ciel represents a landmark development that reinforces Dubai’s position as a hub for tourism and business travel,” says The First Group chief executive Rob Burns. “Standing at 377 metres, the tower will redefine upper-upscale hospitality, blending innovation, luxury and creativity.”
Ciel offers a comprehensive lifestyle experience, with a luxury spa on the 61st floor, a state-of-the-art gym, an executive lounge, flexible meeting spaces and access to Soluna Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah. Families are also taken care of with a tailored program for children.
The hotel’s location in Dubai Marina gives guests direct access to beaches, the Marina Mall, vibrant dining and shopping precincts, and nearby attractions such as Ain Dubai and The Walk at JBR. There is also close proximity to the tram, metro and water taxi transport links.
