LEASING

Sydney

SRG Global Limited has leased a 100-square-metre office suite at 64 Clarence Street from Fidinam for $875 per square metre gross. No lease term was disclosed. The site currently has two additional fully fitted floors of 212 square metres available, priced to lease between $580-$625 gross effective with full fit outs in place. Chelsea Anstee, Colliers International negotiated the lease.

St Marys

A supplier of concrete and steel to the building industry, Meshcrete will relocate to a new, 2,460-square-metre base at 1/107 Dunheved Circuit for a net rent of $120 per sq m. It has signed a three-year lease, with an option for a further five years. CBRE’s Janet Joljian, Matthew Alessi and Brendan Wein secured the lease on behalf of the private vendor, with Robert Tappouras from PRD Commercial.

Smeaton Grange

Rexnord Australia has leased a 1,203-square-metre office/warehouse unit at Unit 3/8-20 Anderson Road from a private investor at rent between $120-$130 per square metre net. The lease term is four years plus a four year option. The American OEM company is now fully operational at its new location in the heart of one of Sydney’s fastest growing regions. Kyle Dewey and Fab Dalfonso, Colliers International, negotiated the lease.

Pymble

Not-for-profit mental health and support organisation, Wellways Australia, has relocated to a 420 sq m site at the Pymble Corporate Centre, 20 Bridge Street for $350 per square metre net. Wellways Australia has signed a five-year lease on its new corporate base. CBRE’s Ben Byford and Peter Mangraviti negotiated the lease deal.

St Leonards

Fast food group KFC has found a new 86-square-metre site at shop 6P04, 201 Pacific Highway in the The Forum complex from Centuria Property Fund. While the rent is confidential it’s understood to be in excess of $1,500 net per square metre for an initial lease term of five years. CBREs Amy Pfeiffer negotiated the lease.

Global Nutrition Australia Pty Ltd has leased a 898-square-metre industrial warehouse/office at Unit 2, 37 Lyn Parade from a private developer at $140 pr square metre net. The lease term is three years. Rino Gazzera and Fab Dalfonso, Colliers International negotiated the lease.

SALES

Alexandria

A private investor, AMA Constructions has sold a 3,224-square-metre industrial property at 106 Euston Road for $7.25 million. Purchased by Made Pty Ltd, a local strata developer who looking to redevelop the site into industrial units and to capitalise on last mile delivery. CBRE’s William Gathercole, advised on the sale.

Alexandria

Elizabeth Investments Ralph Street Pty Ltd have sold a 392-square-metre warehouse asset at Unit 2, 26A Ralph Street to VSMS Properties Pty Ltd for $2.55 million. Tom Barnier, Colliers International negotiated the sale.

AMP Capital

Kylie O’Connor has been promoted to the head of AMP Capital real estate business to replace the outgoing Carmel Hourigan. Ms O’Connor is currently AMP Capital Real Estate’s chief operating officer and managing director of separate accounts.

Luke Briscoe will take on the role as chief operating officer, real estate, where he will oversee the operations of the business while seeking opportunities to enhance the real estate platform. Mr Briscoe held the position of managing director, office & logistics for the past five years and in his new role will also lead the $10 billion separate accounts business.
