Industry moves: Colliers and Knight Frank make new appointments

Knight Frank, JLL and Colliers International have announced several new additions to their NSW teams, including several directorships.

Colliers has appointed Peter Seeto, a senior operative and committee member of the Property Council of Australia, director of Sydney CBD fringe sales, investment services.

Mr Seeto has over 18 years’ experience in commercial property sales and leasing, with a focus on retail assets both in Australia and overseas, with recent transactions including 1603 Botany Road, Botany, for $1,615,000; 724 Pittwater Road, Brookvale, for $3,600,000; Shop B1 7-9 Hunter Street, Sydney, for $2,200,000 and 140 Cleveland Street, Chippendale, for $12,500,000.

Knight Frank has appointed James O’Neill and Matthew Lee as directors for its NSW division.

Mr O’Neill joins the global corporate services division, while Mr Lee will manage the Parramatta-based western Sydney industrial team.

Before joining Knight Frank, Mr O’Neill worked as a leasing manager at CIMIC Group and also spent eight years at Colliers International, while Mr Lee worked with CBRE for over a decade.

​​JLL has promoted Gordon McFadyen  from his role in Office Leasing to Associate Director, Sales & Investments, NSW, where he will focus solely on the North Shore investment market.

JLL’s NSW Head of Sales & Investments, Paul Noonan said the move was a reflection of the burgeoning North Shore market.

“This key​​​ appointment to complement our capital markets team reflects the sustained activity of investors in the Australian commercial property market and the interest in the North Shore market, which is gaining increasing attention from institutional and foreign buyers,” he said.

Mr McFadyen joined JLL in 2010 after moving from the UK.

Outside of NSW,  Colliers has appointed  Shae O’Reilly to the Brisbane Industrial team in Brisbane in the role of manager and Andrea Cano to the Brisbane-based International Office Leasing team in the role of Executive.

Ms O’Reilly has experience in commercial and industrial agency having held roles in England and his local region of Rockhampton and Yeppoon with O’Reilly’s Real Estate, and recently in Development Consultancy.

Ms Cano’s previous role was as a Senior Account Manager at advertising agency Adcorp. Prior to this Andrea held Project, Marketing and Client Relationship Management roles with Fairfax Media, Ruby 6 and Coordinate.
