Knight Frank builds residential network team

Knight Frank Australia’s residential project marketing team is expanding with two new key appointments in Queensland and NSW.

Sam Kandil is Knight Frank’s head of residential project marketing, NSW. Chris Litfin is head of residential project marketing, Queensland.

Michael Robinson, Knight Frank’s head of residential project marketing, Australia, says the team is in a significant phase of growth.

“We are building on our existing residential network in key hubs across the country,” Mr Robinson says.

“We have strong project marketing teams in cities including Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide and the Gold Coast.

“Knight Frank is focused on creating a best-in-class marketing offering for residential project developers in Australia.

“Globally, we are one of the top residential property companies and we are looking to develop similarly locally.”

Mr Litfin has more than 20 years’ experience in project marketing and will be based both in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, joining Gillian Bail, Knight Frank’s director, project marketing, Brisbane, who is located in Brisbane.

Originally running the business for PRD Gold Coast, which became Colliers, Mr Litfin went on to open his own business before joining CBRE to head its project marketing team in Queensland.

‘Globally, we are one of the top residential property companies and we are looking to develop similarly locally.’

Mr Litfin has been involved with some of the most high-profile projects on the Gold Coast, including the Q1 Resort & Spa, Ephraim Island and The Wave Resort.

Ben McGrath, Knight Frank managing director, Queensland, says this is a strategic appointment for the business.

“We are pleased to welcome Chris Litfin on board to build upon our existing residential project marketing team in Queensland, joining Gillian Bail in Brisbane,” Mr McGrath says.

“The Queensland business has strong commercial roots and will continue to develop our residential offering as well, in line with the national business.

“Chris will have an immediate focus on driving activity in both the Gold Coast and Brisbane markets.”

Mr Kandil joins the NSW team with 25 years’ experience in property.

Richard Horne. Knight Frank managing director, NSW, says: “Sam is a dynamic and results-driven property professional, with a successful track record in selling off-the-plan residential properties. Sam delivers exceptional customer service to both investors and owner-occupiers.”

Mr Kandil has led the sales of more than 38 significant residential projects across all Sydney regions, including the Sydney CBD, achieving over $3.5 billion in sales in the past five years.
