Buyers line up to bid on Sydney properties at Burgess Rawson auction
Metropolitan investments look set to headline auction results at the final Burgess Rawson portfolio auction of 2016, including a KFC restaurant and a TAB.
Twenty nine listings spanning several states look set to go under the hammer on Tuesday from 10am at Dolton House, with Sydney-based properties expected to stir the highest level of buyer interest, Burgess Rawson director Simon Staddon said.
“Whilst inquiry levels for good regional stock remains strong we have witnessed a real spike in interest for quality Sydney metropolitan assets in the current December auction,” Mr Staddon said.
Among the most popular are a KFC restaurant at Artarmon, which has attracted a more than 200 inquiries, while a dual-tenanted property on Majors Bay Road in Concord, leased to Priceline Pharmacy chain and a physio, has received more than 150 inquiries.
Other highlights of the auction include a TAB in Mortdale and a cafe at 22 Market Street in the Sydney CBD, which has received more than 130 inquiries.
