Matthew was born in Manly with his family moved to Forster in 1983 after purchasing the Forster Newsagency. Matt attended Holy Name Primary then St Clares High and worked in the family business after school, and on weekends, after starting as a paperboy when he was 7 yrs old (He will never forget that first morning…). He & his wife Carly have three young daughters together, all attending Tuncurry Primary School. This is a very exciting & motivating stage of his life & he believes there is no better place in the world to raise a family. When an opportunity presents he likes to play golf, watch some of the local sporting teams, & work on his gardening skills. He also enjoys entertaining family and friends with something cooked low & slow on his wood pellet smoker.

Matt has been part of The Professionals sales team since July 2013, becoming an owner of the business in partnership with Torge Struwe in 2026. Matt is grateful every day for the opportunity to help people realise their property dreams.
