With more than 20 years in the property industry Matthew has enjoyed a wide and varied career to date which commenced in the late 1990's with the completion of his Property and Valuation Degree at Curtin University. From here Matthew obtained his license as a Real Estate Sales Representative working from the West Perth office of Murray R. Stubbs Commercial & Industrial. During this time Matthew managed a diverse portfolio of 250 Commercial, Retail & Industrial properties including large scale office developments, industrial parks and retail centres.

Seizing an opportunity in 2003 to relocate to Busselton in the South West of WA, Matthew obtained his Land Valuers license and commenced employment with Opteon Property Group and later CBRE, obtaining Senior Licensed Valuer status. During this time Matthew undertook a wide variety of valuation tasks including value assessment for asset disposal for Government Agencies, Mortgage security assessment for National Lenders, project feasibility of development sites and presentation of evidence as an expert witness for the Supreme Court. In 2017 Matthew has taken a position as General Manager of First National Real Estate Busselton and head of Commercial Sales & Leasing.
