For the last 17 years, Matt has fulfilled his calling in the real estate industry after a short stint utilizing his degree in Horticulture by designing and building landscapes. “I quickly realized it was bloody hard work and I’d be better off talking to people and selling a product,” says Matt. He was raised on a cattle property in Coonamble, before making his way to the Gold Coast, where he found his passion and now specializes in luxury apartments and high end developments.

Whatever it is he’s doing, you can’t say it isn’t working. Matt was the owner of Conduit Agencies in Broadbeach for 8 years before making the choice to secure the LJ Hooker franchise, and after just 18 months with LJ Hooker, Matt is already ranked among the top 10% of agents within the company.

Matt has also reached Captains Club within the L J Hooker network.

Thanks to his well-respected and trustworthy reputation, most of Matt’s business today is referral-based, having been referred to everyday by people and celebrities alike, such as Chris Hemsworth.

Matt recently connected Chris with his new home that he purchased in Byron Bay.

When not busy with the everyday aspects of the real estate industry, Matt devotes his time and efforts to various charitable foundations such as Surf Life Saving Organisation. “We’re always looking to give back to the community,” says Matt. He enjoys motor cross biking, camping, and of course, surfing.

Matt has big plans for his future in the industry, namely to grow the property management side of the business and to expand his sales team.
