Matilda Downard is an experienced residential and commercial real estate professional with more than a decade of property experience in Western Australia.

Since beginning her real estate career in 2012, Matilda has built a strong track record in sales, negotiation and property strategy.

In August 2016, she was ranked REIWA’s #1 Unassisted Salesperson in WA for residential properties sold, demonstrating her ability to perform at the highest level in the industry.

Matilda also holds a Diploma of Property (Agency Management) and brings extensive hands-on experience as an agent, homeowner, investor and property builder. This gives her a practical understanding of property from both sides of the transaction and allows her to provide clear, honest advice about preparing, presenting and positioning a home for sale.

After spending several years focused on her young family, Matilda returned to real estate in early 2025 and has deliberately built her business differently.

Rather than chasing high listing volumes, she works with a smaller number of properties at a time so she can remain personally involved throughout the entire campaign. From styling and preparing a home for sale, coordinating trades and improvements, through to marketing strategy, buyer follow-up, negotiation and settlement, her approach is highly personalised and hands-on.
