Local folks double take when they see Ken Grech running the boundary for his son’s footy team. They’re so used to seeing this hard-working bloke in a suit that it throws them for a second.

One too many broken bones meant Ken had to hang up his own boots from the Australian Masters competition (also, his run is more of a jog these days). But the active pace of his career hasn’t diminished in forty years in the business.

Ken remains passionate about real estate. He still gets a buzz when people sign on the dotted line. You’ll also find him pretty excited on auction days. That may be because his larrikin side gets to entertain the crowd. But mostly it’s just a great feeling knowing that he’s about to get a top result for vendors, and connect purchasers to their new place.

This place became home for Ken back in his early 20s when he moved from the northern suburbs to establish our Sunbury office. Expansion to Gisborne soon followed and he quickly became a well-known identity in the community. When Ken walks up the street he factors in plenty of talk time.

Ken is a people person. He’s approachable and respected, and contributes tirelessly to community organisations and charities with his time and sponsorship. He also likes to lend a hand to elderly people.

Family life is important to Ken. He’s married with six kids – two of whom work with him in the business. His dad was an agent too so that’s three generations of real estate know-how in the family.

He is an experienced agent and winner of Raine and Horne’s awards as Top Rated Agent and Top Salesperson in country Victoria. This success comes from long hours and local market knowledge in rural, residential and commercial sectors.

As Director, Ken has assembled a great team across four offices in Sunbury, Gisborne, Woodend and Kyneton. He loves opening doors for people to experience this region’s country lifestyle with city proximity.
