"My passion for property sales means I do what I love best every day – help people to list and sell homes.

Specialising in Lake Macquarie’s lakeside suburb of Warners Bay I’ve sold properties to the north eastern side of the lake as well as ocean side. My clients know I won’t stop negotiating until I’ve achieved the highest possible price for their home.

The truth is, I’m not your regular real estate agent. My experience spans close to 40 years and includes highly strategic roles in marketing and communications. Starting as a journalist, I’ve been a news presenter, owned an advertising agency, got an MBA and gained qualifications from the Institute of Company Directors. I acquired my real estate licence in 2015 but have been marketing property for more than 20 years, which helped set me firmly on this property path.

But how does this relate to you selling your home or investment property? It means I can think outside the square, or ‘four walls’ so to speak. My advantage over other agents is that I take a consultative approach, always looking for better ways to market your property, extract more value in the eyes of the buyer and develop a campaign that beats competing properties hands down.

Having sold and purchased homes in recent years myself, as part of my own downsizing journey, I can speak from experience and authority to clients who find themselves in a similar position. It can take time to work out the best way to ‘right size’ your lifestyle. You need to take a good look at your future finance needs, reduce your belongings or set up storage facilities. Then you need to think hard about the important attributes of your next home, (whether a villa, cottage, townhouse or apartment), before putting your current home on the market.

You need an agent with patience and empathy, who’ll guide you through the process and help you tackle key decisions at key points in the journey. In addition to downsizers, I’ve helped families sell a deceased estate, and property investors extract as much equity as possible. Whatever your situation, you don’t want to rush.
