After achieving multiple business milestones and a string of industry awards, a life-changing diagnosis for his littlest daughter saw Joel and his sun-loving family of five relocate back to the Sunshine Coast.

Leaving Joel Hood Property on the Mornington Peninsula, Joel turned his attention to growing the Agents’ Agency Queensland sector, taking on the BDM role, and expanding the national brand from two to 22 agencies across the Sunshine State.

A decade of industry learnings and almost 1000 property sales, Joel Hood has established a contemporary operation, pulling the best bits from his long-standing industry career to build a new, seamless real estate model where his clients’ enjoy a premium service bolstered by precision, innovation and trust.

Outside of inspiring those to live where they love, Joel and Sarah continue to be actively involved with fundraising for the Mito Foundation, having raised over $180,000.00 for research and development into Mitochondrial Disease; a foundation held close to their hearts. The Hood family also proactively advocate towards a cure which in April 2022 saw The Mitochondrial Donation Bill named ‘Maeve’s Law’ after Joel & Sarah’s youngest daughter be legislated through parliament, allowing future generations a path to eradicating this insidious disease.
