Since joining ResortBrokers in 2019, Jessie Shi has established herself as one of Brisbane’s foremost management rights specialists.

In 2024, Jessie’s excellence in management rights was acknowledged by the industry’s peak body, ARAMA, with its highest honour: Sales Broker of the Year People’s Choice Award.

She is also the current holder of PRET Australia’s Top Agent Award. Among the five winners, drawn from more than 80 nominations and a shortlist of 14 finalists, Jessie was the only management rights broker.

Jessie’s success in the management rights industry, combined with her impressive sales volume, earned her ResortBrokers’ Rising Star Award in FY24.

Her commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for her clients has resulted in agreed deals of management rights assets worth more than $177 million in total.

Jessie’s notable sales include Cambridge Residences on the Gold Coast, MacArthur Chambers and The Manor Apartment Hotel, both in the Brisbane CBD; Light & Co and Enclave in West End, which sold in one line; Coorparoo Square in Coorparoo; Gasworks in Newstead; The Marc in Kangaroo Point; and Lincoln on the Park and Mode Apartments, in Greenslopes and Newstead respectively, which also sold in one line.

For five years prior to joining ResortBrokers, Jessie owned and operated her own management rights business in central Brisbane. This experience gives her a deep appreciation of what it is like to run a management rights business and the process involved in buying and selling one.

A native Mandarin speaker, Jessie holds a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA from the University of Queensland. Prior to owning her own management rights business, she forged a successful career as a business development and key account manager for a global food and beverage company looking after the Asia-Pacific region.

Jessie’s extensive commercial dealings in Asia have equipped her with an in-depth understanding of business-related social/cultural differences among Asian cultures. She has used her experience to build and maintain long-term and mutually beneficial business relationships with stakeholders from various countries and sectors.

“My background in the corporate world has given me the skills and experience to help buyers and sellers make the right decisions and put them on the path to business success,” says Jessie.
