Jay Lancaster works with business owners, tenants, and landlords across the Gold Coast commercial market, not just to secure a space, but to get the foundations right for how a business operates and grows. His path here is anything but conventional. Born and raised on the southern end of the Gold Coast, Jay's career in business began in the early 2000s when he built Billabong Australia's audio-visual department from the ground up, an early signal of the initiative and creative thinking that has shaped his career ever since. He entered real estate in 2008, working across residential sales and project marketing on the Southern Gold Coast and Tweed, before spending over a decade in the marine industry. First in luxury yacht sales with Ensign Ship Brokers, then as CEO of the Adventure Boat Company, importing and distributing premium European adventure vessels across the Australian market, before going on to found his own luxury yacht brokerage, Lanoyce. Across every chapter the thread is the same, business strategy, negotiation, and a genuinely client-first approach that his customers have consistently noted in the kind of reviews that aren't easy to earn.
That reputation is what he brings to TIDAL Property. Jay's instinct is to understand exactly what a client is trying to achieve before anything else, because clarity at that stage is what makes the difference between a transaction and a result.
A Gold Coast local through and through, Jay grew up surfing the point breaks of the south end and still finds his best headspace in, or around the water. He holds a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and has worked aboard vessels ranging from 20 to 74 metres, from deckhand to captain. Outside of work, he's most often found with his family, on the water, or both.
