James Tan

James was one of the first sales consultants to join Ascend Real Estate team when it was first established in 2010. Coming from a strong background in science and research where he spent his last 30 years, James discovered a newly found interest in the property market, and decided to join Ascend to embark on a new chapter of his career.

He brings with him quality professionalism, integrity, accountability and endless dedication to his job. James was able to quickly establish a large client network, including repeat business from many clients as well as referrals amongst client’s friends – which is a testament to his strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and honesty.

While serving all parts of Melbourne with no territorial borders, James has a particular interest in the Boroondara area. He and his family resided in Balwyn for many years, and his daughter graduated from Balwyn High School with an outstanding results allowing her to study medicine at Melbourne University.

Outside of his busy working schedule, James enjoys working on his garden, and spending quality time with his family and Loki, his 12 year old German Shepherd.
