James became part of the real estate landscape in our area in the mid 1980’s. When coupled with 19 years in local government as a Health & Building Inspector and Town Planner his knowledge base is certainly well honed. The addition of qualifications and experience as a registered Valuer means his clients are well served. Taking over the operation of Sternbeck’s Real Estate in 2010 James has given a commitment that will see the family business move into the next generation continuing the legacy developed by Harold Sternbeck of providing ‘service with integrity’ and at all times treating people as people with the utmost respect. As a ‘stock and station agent’ James loves dealing with rural property sales and is very much a country boy at heart. Being a talented auctioneer as well means there is a host of opportunities that James and our agency can deliver to our clients including livestock auction and clearing sales. Charity auctions also are a great deal of fun for good causes and are something that James enjoys helping out with. Away from the office James can be found at a local golf course shaping his game and is steadily reaching a ‘point of regard’ with his golf handicap. With a history of all manner of competitive sporting pursuits over the years under his belt, there is plenty of experience that James can call upon … nowadays, however, he prefers to verbalise that experience and the feats of daring do and outstanding results are remarkably growing to legendary status.
