Jacob Carlile is the Director and Licensee of Hot Property, and a second-generation real estate agent.

Born and raised in Toowoomba, Jacob grew up around the business his father, Leon, founded in 2002. While completing a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and Accounting at the University of Southern Queensland, he worked in financial services with Morgans, the national stockbroking and wealth management firm.

Jacob joined Hot Property full-time as a Director in December 2019. Alongside Leon and business partner Greg Riehl, he has helped grow Hot Property into the largest independent real estate agency in the Toowoomba region, and the business has been listed in the AFR Fast Starters. Today, Jacob leads marketing and business development.

In 2021, he was named Rising Star Property Manager of the Year at the REIQ Awards for Excellence. He now serves as the REIQ Zone Chair for Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.

Outside of work, Jacob still calls Toowoomba home with his wife, Nicole, and their family. He enjoys staying fit and healthy, and is a big motorsport fan.
