With more than 30 years in real estate, Holly is the owner and Managing Director of Buxton Mornington Peninsula. Since acquiring the business in 2015, she has led its evolution into one of the Mornington Peninsula’s leading real estate groups. Today, her focus is on building exceptional people, creating outstanding client experiences and continually evolving the business for the future.

What’s your personal connection to the neighbourhood?

My connection to the Mornington Peninsula began in my teenage years through weekends at my parents’ hobby farm in Red Hill. In 2016, my family made the permanent move to Flinders, and we’ve never looked back. Today, it’s where we live, where I lead my business, and where I’ve had the privilege of building lasting relationships throughout the local community.

What do your clients commonly say you do differently?

Clients often say they value my honest advice and strategic approach. I think beyond the transaction, challenge conventional thinking where it adds value and focus on helping clients make confident, informed decisions. They also know they’re backed by the collective experience of a collaborative team, not just one individual.

What are some core values you live by?

Respect, integrity and responsibility are the foundation of how I lead and how our team operates. I also believe in being firm and fair—holding myself and others accountable while remaining open to new information and different perspectives. One of my most meaningful client relationships began with a simple moment. After hours, I noticed a family looking through the office window and opened the door to help. That small act of taking the time to connect led to representing their much-loved family home and achieving a result that genuinely changed their lives. It remains a powerful reminder that what we really do is help people progress with their property lives.
