A third-generation local to the Woolgoolga area, Gurk has many longstanding ties in the community, where he has a clear appreciation for the lifestyle, the natural beauty of the area and its diverse range of properties. An active member of the local community, he has been a previous singles and double champion of the Woolgoolga Tennis Club and is currently a member of the Coffs Harbour Golf Club and Woolgoolga RSL Golf Club. His other interests include camping, live music, the beach and most sports. Being married to Rhonda, a local travel consultant, international travel features highly in his passions, although having travelled extensively, he is a firm believer that the Coffs Coast is the best part of the world!
