Greg has been helping people move home since he started back in 1998 and is still enjoying every bit of it. You can go out now and get a real estate agents license in a week, but it is the experience that is important when selecting an agent to deal with possibly your most expensive asset. Years ago, Greg studied every facet of real estate, 3 nights a week over 4 years to attain his full real estate license, which he said has been invaluable. Experience and understanding the legal requirements is a necessity.

In 2004 Greg and his wife Lisa started Wood Real Estate and was quickly recognised as a specialist in residential sales and property management in the Albury district. The business grew and they had to move into bigger premises, ideally located next to Westpac at 325A Urana Rd, Lavington. The team has now grown to 6 staff.

"We didn't wish to be a big franchise office, so we stayed local, independent and ensured we offered that personal service. We definitely are a strong professional team of 6 staff, easily handling our large property management portfolio and property sales."

You wouldn't think for a minute that Greg is turning 50yrs old. His energy and enthusiasm is not too different to a 30yr old. In his spare time he's riding his bike, swimming laps of the pool or skiing on the weir or up the snow in winter.

If that doesn't slow him down, he is very community focused and a director on the local Chamber of Commerce helping other businesses in town. If you want your property sold, you don't have to ask him is he going to work hard for you, it's a given. He also rally's up all the local agents for an annual charity gold day and represents Albury as the Albury Divisional Chairperson of the Real Estate Institute of NSW. Ethics, legislation changes and a higher standard of industry practices are always on the agenda.
