Geoff is a passionate and family orientated person. Having grown up in the region, with his family having a long history in the Mooroopna, Shepparton & Congupna communities, he is extremely proud of what the Goulburn Valley has to offer. His personal involvement in the community has varied over the years from being a past president of the Congupna Football Netball Club. Committee member and past President of the Shepparton Touch Football association. Former Congupna Primary School school council President. Current positions include being a board member of Connect G.V Disability Service and the President of the Congupna Recreation Reserve committee.

Geoff is married with three sons who are all have been actively committed to the local community through sport and community organisations. Throughout those experiences and through his work history, Geoff has developed excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a capacity to develop positive relationships, both personally and professionally.
