Before embarking on his career in real estate Gareth grew up in Ulverstone with a family ingrained in real estate. His competitive nature honed from years of running in the state underage championships before having a successful career on the Tasmanian professional circuit.

As a committed local resident to Burnie, Gareth spends his spare time with his three boys and new addition to the family, their French bulldog Rollo, and is an avid sponsor of the Somerset Basketball Club and Burnie Little Athletics.
