Meet Eliza Fonstin, a dynamic and passionate individual who calls Suffolk Park home after making the move from Melbourne five years ago. As an employee of First National Byron Bay, Eliza is on an exciting new career path, but her roots run deep in the community. Having hit the peak of her personal training career in Byron, she built a solid reputation as a boxing coach, Pilates instructor, and personal trainer, all while fostering strong local connections.

Before settling in Byron Bay, Eliza’s diverse background include degrees in Education, and extensive knowledge in Tourism, and Wine Education. Her professional journey also includes roles in hospitality and sales, which paved the way for her successful transition into the world of fitness. Now, she’s channeling that experience into her new role, and she’s absolutely loving it.

Since moving to the Byron Shire Eliza feels deeply at home — she says it’s one of the only places where she can truly thrive and be herself. From meeting familiar faces on a walk to the lighthouse to grabbing a coffee, the tight-knit community here brings her so much joy. Outside of work, you’ll find Eliza exploring the great outdoors, hiking, adventuring, or enjoying the beach and the gym.
