It isn’t a stretch to say that real estate is in Doug O’Mara’s DNA.

He honed his craft over three decades in the property trenches, including many years at a senior level with CBRE, Colliers International, Knight Frank and Ray White. Now at the helm of the Civium Property Group, his team of over 100 professionals brings 700 plus years of collective experience in real estate. From offices in ACT and NSW they provide property services and advice to Government, Residential and Commercial Agency Services, Project Sales, Finance, Strata and Property Management.

In his role at Ray White alone, Doug sold more than $300 million of Commercial and Industrial real estate, negotiated over $70 million in annual rent for his clients, managed the merger and acquisition of four real estate offices and led the establishment of a further eight offices.

He has built a strong and enviable reputation for asset and funds management with clients and investors alike. Orchestrating the syndication of $90 million worth of Canberra real estate in recent years, Doug has also been involved in the sale of prestige residential property, including a property that achieved the highest ever residential sale in the ACT.

In 2015, Doug was instrumental in the ACT Government appointing Civium as one of two companies coordinating the marketing and sale process for the Suburban Land Sale Program. The program, on behalf of the LDA, includes the sale of up to 800 blocks of land in Canberra’s inner suburbs that were affected by loose-fill asbestos.

In 2017 Doug led the rebrand of Ray White Canberra to Civium Property Group, and made an exciting decision to join Civium Strata and provide a more tailored and local focus, with a larger and even more responsive team to assist with your real estate needs.

Doug has also quickly expanded Civium’s property services into NSW, to complement the existing strata and ACT businesses.
