Damien Shiel commenced employment in the Real Estate Industry in April 1975, with the then Blackburn & Lockwood Brunswick office, working in the rental department and was also involved in sales activity.

Damien Shiel, a member of the REIV became a fully Licensed Estate Agent in 1980 and commenced employment at Brian and Howard Kelly in September 1981 and became a Partner with Mr Howard Kelly in July 1983. Upon Mr Kelly's retirement in July 1987, Mr Shiel became Sole Proprietor.
