Chris Meares has been a practicing and licensed Stock and Station, Real Estate Agent, Auctioneer and Valuer for 50 years. Chris spent 8 years with a major pastoral house and 16 years as Principal of the successful Weaver Meares & Co at Coolah, NSW – a Company with a strong rural property marketing and valuation business, before he opened Meares & Associates in 1996.

With a solid background in agribusiness, banking, marketing and property throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia, Chris has been involved in the sales and marketing of many of Australia’s leading rural properties.

Chris lives and breathes rural life, and was a founding board member of Computer Aided Livestock Marketing (CALM, now known as Auctions Plus), and a past vice President of the NSW Stock and Station Agents Association. He also managed his own rural property operation and is now retained as an adviser and director to rural investors in both Australia and off shore.
