Brendan Armitage — Business Broker

Brendan brings more than 30 years of commercial experience to Mercury, including over a decade as an international business broker with Macquarie Commercial. In that role he advised on and negotiated business and commercial property sales for domestic and international investors across the Asia-Pacific region, including buyers under the Significant and Premium Investor programs.

Before brokering, Brendan held senior sales and general management roles in Australian engineering and manufacturing, including General Manager of Hales Australia and National Sales & Marketing Manager within the ASX-listed Austrim Nylex group. He began his career as an apprentice fitter and turner in his family’s fourth-generation manufacturing business. That background gives him a practical understanding of commercial and industrial businesses.

Since 2017, Brendan has worked as an independent consultant to SME owners on exit planning, growth strategy and sales leadership. At Mercury he helps vendors prepare for sale and connects them with the right buyers.

Brendan is a Former APAC international business broker with deep roots in Australian manufacturing and engineering, now helping SME owners plan and achieve successful exits.
