CLARAVALE STATION
61,382ha Perpetual Pastoral Lease. The main homestead is approximately 20km from the Stuart Highway on the well formed gravel access road. This road passes through the property to the Dorisvale crossing on the Daly River. Over the last 12 years, the property has been developed as a breeder operation. There are now 11 main paddocks and several holding paddocks. A range of springs, dams and troughs fed from the main homestead bore supply water to these paddocks. A new bore is due for construction during June 2020. The property overlies the Oolloo, Tindal and Jinduckin aquifers. Historically there has been clearing just off the Dorisvale road, however regrowth is in place. 6310ha, approximately 60km from the Stuart Highway with frontage to the Daly River. Historically used for cropping and cattle, this property offers a range of deep red earths and river alluvials. There is a large billabong on this parcel providing scope for future development. The land overlies both the Florina and Oolloo aquifers. Infrastructure is minimal on this parcel. Quite rare to have an un-developed block of this size in the Daly Basin region.
Claravale Station and Claravale Farm are both in an area that has been reviewed by the NT Farmers association for future development. Given that there are established agricultural districts in the Douglas Daly to the north, and Edith / Florina districts to the south west, Claravale does provide scope for future development, subject to necessary government approvals.
