    One of the significant offerings of 2025, Tara Moira Aggregation is the largest contingent holding in the Trundle district.

    Assembled by the Watt family over the past 70 years, Tara Moira Aggregation is a high performing mixed farming operation, with a modern 4,000 head lamb feedlot turning off up to 19,500 lambs a year, a standout feature established in 2017.

    The property is principally open, level Kurrajong country with the soil being predominantly red loams, which over the years have benefited from the application lime and of manure from the feedlot, in addition to a comprehensive fertiliser program.

    Being over 95% arable the property has been producing high yielding winter cereals, oilseeds and pulses which are utilised through the feedlot and sold into the markets.

    A centralised laneway system enables excellent efficiencies and connectivity throughout the property for livestock and machinery. It, along with the balance of the fencing, is of an extremely high standard with large sections renewed in recent years.

    The property is extremely well watered by dams. 3 larger dams plus a bore ensure sufficient water to the feedlot and for stock and domestic use. The water infrastructure was invaluable in 2017-2019 drought years.

    The feedlot has been carefully designed and its modern attributes contribute to the efficiency of the operation. All pens have running water gravity fed to them and a return system which filters and treats the water as it returns to the header tanks.

    The agricultural infrastructure throughout the Aggregation is also of a very high standard. Machinery sheds, workshops, 2 x 4 stand shearing sheds, grain storage including silos (1900 tonne) and bulk shed (3000 tonne) are all in excellent condition and fully operational. Additionally, there are 4 sets of sheep yards.

    The 4 bedroom homestead with modern kitchen is set in established lawns with mature trees and overlooks the tennis court. There are 3 other residences on the Aggregation 2 are leased.

    The 2025 cereal planting includes some 791 ha of Canola, 1709 ha of Wheat, 616 ha of Barley, 215 ha of Lupins. All growing crops are included in the sale of the property.

    Traditionally the livestock operation has consisted of 5000 merino and first-cross ewes, producing prime first and second-cross lambs.

    The Watt family have also leased 2 adjoining properties for an extended period of time, known as 'Tara Moira' & 'Steeton' (970.5 ha | 2,398 acres*) and 1489 Carlisle-Trundle Road (211.1 ha | 521 acres*). These two properties are being offered for sale (by Elders also) simultaneously but are under different ownership. These properties are not contingent on the sale of Tara Moira Aggregation. All growing crops on these properties are included in the sale of Tara Moira Aggregation.
