Santa Rosa is situated 32* kilometres northwest of Biloela (8* km off the Burnett Highway) and 33* northeast of Banana (14*km off the Dawson Highway) on the Belldeen Greycliffe Road. The city of Rockhampton is 129*km to the north and the city of Gladstone is 131* km to the east.
MARKETS & SERVICES:
Export abattoirs at Biloela and Rockhampton, saleyards at Biloela, Moura and Gracemere. The town of Biloela is the major centre in the Banana Shire and offers a full range of shopping and services. Primary school at Jambin (17* km) and secondary schools at Biloela.
COUNTRY: Brigalow, softwood scrub country with Collins Creek forming the northern boundary. Soils range from heavy scrub loams to reddish soil.
