    Callamonda is located immediately north of the Warradarge roadhouse and upon the Brand Highway. The coastal town of Green Head is 40kms to the west with Coorow being 70kms to the east. Coorow offers all agricultural services for merchandise and cropping requirements with Moora 104kms to the south east offering all machinery sales and services as well as higher education and health facilities.

    The area of Warradarge is being realised for its potential to crop with the strong gravel soils being highly productive. The long term average for the area is 500mm and above with most rains coming in the growing season. Cropping has become a major source of income as new techniques have increased dramatically the production of the heavy gravels and sandy gravels that are available.
    Water is abundant and this also offers much grazing opportunity.

    Callamonda is a mixed farming operation which until 2020 had been conservatively farmed as a livestock operation. The last 2 years have seen the owner make opportunity of the good gravel soils for cropping with reefinating and liming of soils being employed to increase production. The better cropping country is quite capable of long term rotational cropping with cereals, lupins and canola.
    The current season sees 550 hectares in crop to canola which has been rotated on a wheat crop from last season.
