One of Circular Head's iconic landmarks. The original home of one of Tasmania's most loved food products "Duck River Butter".
This building was opened in 1917, extensions added in 1939 and 1950's and for years produced both butter and cheese, revered by the majority of Tasmania.
The factory nestles at the front of approximately 3.92 acres, on the main thoroughfare entering the township and was the flagship of the local dairy industry for many years.
The building has a footprint of approximately 2,500 square metres and is mainly still in its original condition.
Located next to the existing Council offices, the building offers the potential buyer a myriad of uses (STCA).
With the original colouring of yellow, red and green facade it would be a wonderful opportunity to restore it to its original prominence in the community.
