    The Asset
    The Vineyard grows 25,000* vines covering 19* hectares (48* acres) split as 14* hectares of table grapes and 5* hectares of wine grapes.
    Riversands is a Sunworld grower licensed to grow "Midnight Beauty" with access to an exciting range of new quick maturing varieties.
    Riversands offers the potential to grow new higher yielding table grape varieties suited to export. New wine varieties such as Vermentino and Saperavi have recently been planted.

    The vineyard is supplied by a secure 226* megalitre water license stored in the Beardmore Dam with a full year of water supply.
    The owners have undertaken significant irrigation infrastructure redevelopment over the past 5* years increasing pump capacity, filters, sub-mains and conversion to double drippers on table grapes costing over $300,000*. The coldroom was also upgraded in 2010 with capacity to chill and store 44* pallets of table grapes costing over $250,000*.

    The Business
    Riversands has an established brand name in the table grape industry producing 15,000*-25,000* (10* kilogram cartons) of premium table grapes marketed directly to supermarkets via the Costa Group.

    "Riversands" is a recognised brand name in the Queensland wine industry with multi-award-winning wine sold through multiple marketing channels. These include the cellar door, over 50* retail outlets, 30* shows and festivals and internet sales.

    Riversands also produces a unique range of grape condiments which are sold as accessory products. In addition to hosting record tourist numbers since July 2020, the vineyard hosts an increasing number of functions and events. The business has also received strong coach bookings over the next 12* months.

    The business comes with highly experienced staff and a tried and proven management structure. It has Freshcare 4.2, HARPS, ICA 20 & Sedex accreditation.

    The business received the Balonne Shire Overall Best Business Excellence Award in 2003 and 2009.
