For genuine sale, purchaser will need to prune, crop is included. 15.5 acres of Shiraz, 4 of which the cuttings are from the original Penfolds vineyard. 3 acres - 1978 Grenache. 2 acres Cabernet. 17mg ground water licence is included in the sale, currently using 14 -15mg pa. The ground water is 1800 - 19000 gallons per hour with PVC casing and is possible to irrigate the entire vineyard in 24 - 48 hours for a deep ground penetration. The fruit has been sold to various wineries over the years, with ongoing availability to continue if required. The vineyard has had considerable restoration in the past 5 years, with full production expected in 2019. A shipping container located on the vineyard is included in the sale. The bore water is sourced from a bore behind the Barossa Council carpark and is serviced by power and has its own title. Tonnes quoted below are from the 2107 vintage.
