The properties enjoy a Mediterranean climate with a reliable rainfall in most years with a long­term average of around 310-340 millimetres (13-14 inches).
The properties have been farmed in recent years as a 50/50 grazing cropping operation with excellent results being achieved by both. The grazing has been by way of a 2,500 Dorper ewe flock which the operators have been lambing on a twice yearly basis with outstanding results.
