Description
The development entailed the refurbishment, repositioning and re-leasing of an existing 22 level, 26,300 square metre B-grade office building, transforming it into a contemporary building comprising 26,287 square metres of A-grade office and retail space, with the majority of floors having floorplates of up to 1,250 square metres. The refurbishment included the reconfiguration and upgrade of the ground floor, refurbishment of lifts, lift lobbies, amenities and typical floors, plus an extensive upgrade of the building's services to an A-grade standard, targeting a minimum 4 star Green Star rating. The design was focused on both the ground floor lobby and the connection from Ann Street, through the lobby to the adjoining 275 George Street building and further beyond to Adelaide Street, which revitalised the pre-existing cross-site connections that existed prior to refurbishment.
