It is a 2.5-hour scenic drive from the Cairns Airport via the Alkira-branded 11-passenger coach or 30 minutes via helicopter to the Alkira helipad. Guest experiences are enhanced by the proximity to the Cape Tribulation township with its cafes, tourism excursion operators, and the Daintree National Park. Cape Tribulation is a favoured departure point for Great Barrier Reef trips to the Lower Isles.
