For the first time in around 150 years, 'Leneva' is offered for sale!
Located just 8 kilometres north west of Lockhart with a long frontage to the Boree Creek Road, 'Leneva' is comprised of 498 hectares(1,231 acres); gently undulating country with predominantly soft red loam soils and remnant vegetation of Yellow & Grey Box with scattered Cypress Pine. Water is supplied by dams with two Riverina Water connections reticulating to the homestead and curtilage, with some troughs connected for stock.
'Leneva' is currently running 1,100 sheep on pastures of clover & ryegrass; in previous years the property has seen 300 to 400 acres of crop and had been running 50 breeding cows plus followers.
The homestead has not been lived in for some years but is used as a daily base whilst working on the property. Sheds include a steel frame machinery shed with power connected, two stand shearing shed with steel yards, steel cattle yards and two small bulk grain sheds plus two seed silos.
Early access can be negotiated for preparation of the 2024 cropping season.
