Two of Australia's best Trout Impoundments, Eucumbene and Jindabyne, are only a little over two hours drive whilst the Thredbo Alpine Village for snow skiing and boarding is around two and a half hours' drive. The closest airport is Canberra, only around a three-hour drive, with Sydney around six hours.
