Minmore Orchards located in Kumbia, Queensland, is an early market stone fruit operation comprising:
~ Two non-contiguous landholdings, totaling 294 hectares, comprising a 66 hectare stone fruit orchard, with the balance being grazing land.
~ The stone fruit orchard is currently planted to 34 hectares of various peach and nectarine varieties (approximately 22,500 trees).
~ High quality irrigation infrastructure with scope for further expansion.
~ An additional 11 hectares has been developed with irrigation infrastructure and is able to be planted to further expand the operation.
~ Structural improvements on the stone fruit orchard include two dwellings, cool room, workshop, machinery shed and garage.
~ The balance of the property is grazing land (approximately 228 hectares) and features a large irrigation dam, along with pumping infrastructure for the delivery of water to the stone fruit orchard.
~ Water security is a feature of Minmore Orchards. Water is supplied via a seasonal creek and a single equipped bore located on the grazing parcel. It must be noted that this bore is not located within a declared groundwater system and therefore does not have a volumetric cap.
