Our office was established in Ferntree Gully in mid 1970’s when the local area was expanding in leaps and bounds. The farmland was being developed into housing estates with allotments ranging from 750sqm to 1000sqm. As the population grew, businesses grew to meet the population’s demands. 1980 – 1990 was the growth decade in both residential, commercial and industrial real estate when Ferntree Gully and the Knox area as a whole was transformed into a more modern and vibrant area.

Abley Real Estate joined the 100% Australian owned and operated Professionals Real Estate Group as one of their first members’s well over 30 years ago. Today the group has well over 300 offices and has expanded to New Zealand, throughout South East Asia and is now looking to the USA. The group prides itself on its social responsibility through office contribution at local and national levels, as a key supporter to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Child Cancer Foundation.

Our Managing Director Ray Abley has been one, if not the major sponsor, of local sporting and community groups for over 30 years and Ray was also awarded Corporate Citizen of the Year for his continuing community participation.
