There is now a unique opportunity for food and beverage operators to have a small tenancy in the new Science Place Building at James Cook University. The three retail tenancies will be located at the new Science Place Building currently under construction located in the core educational hub of the university campus and close to the Eddie Mabo Library.
The three retail tenancies will include provisions for power and water to each tenancy plus an exhaust fan, grease trap and electricity to suit cooking facilities. The outlets will be part of a furnished food court area with an internal air-conditioned seating area with the capacity for 92 people and an undercover external area with a capacity for 64 people.
The successful operator would be responsible for their own professional fitout of the tenancy to suit their business needs. The university vision is to have an operator that supplies a fast service operation with a selection of food offerings accompanied by an efficient beverage service.
