Childcare/ Community/ Medical Site
Coombs will be home to Molonglo Valley’s first community hub, with planned local shops, a public school, community facility and Mixed Use developments planned for the suburb.
Coombs is also Canberra’s doorstep to nature, and is surrounded by walking trails, the Molonglo River, bike paths and parks and is expected to be home to 55,000 people by 2045.
The Childcare/ Community site backs onto the public primary School site which is currently under construction and to be completed for the 2016 school year and will be capable of educating 712 primary school children. This will be complemented with a 150 place Childcare planned for completion also in 2016 on this site.
We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the remainder of the site which will complement the Primary School and Childcare.
Some of the permitted uses for the site are as follows:
* Health Facility (Doctors/ Dentist/ Medical centre/ Allied Health/ Chemist as an ancillary use)
* Indoor Recreation Facility (Gyms etc)
* Outdoor Recreation Facility
* Educational Facility
* Place of Worship
We are looking for tenants that fit within the above purpose clauses who are be interested in being the first commercial tenants within the Molonglo Valley. This would provide great opportunity to be involved within the design phase of the project.
