2187MF - Operational Motel With 3,200m2 Industrial Land attached
- 11 unit motel well located with highway exposure.
- Large level site of 6,400m2 zoned light industrial and fully fenced.
- Suitable for further development or create a separate 3,200m2 industrial site.
- Located on northern approach to Chinchilla with potential for owner operator or business.
- Trade is currently low due to previous tenant abandoning the business.
- A large proportion of established business has been lost with owners now slowly regaining back.
This is a great opportunity to purchase an 11 unit freehold motel in the Surat Basin, currently business is down throughout the area however indications are that it will return again before too long. Now is the time to take the opportunity available to purchase and rebuild plus have a vacant industrial site to develop or sell off.
Contact Michael Philpott from Tourism Brokers for further information or to arrange an inspection.

Location: Chinchilla is located 290 km west of Brisbane on the Warrego Highway between Miles and Dalby. It is a middle-sized service town for the surrounding agricultural district and services a population in excess of 5,800 residents of the shire. The town has grown into an attractive, clean and progressive community of approximately 3,700 people and boasts a high standard of education, recreation, retail and professional services.
The economy of the Shire has been largely reliant on primary production including agriculture, beef and pork production, wool growing, horticulture and timber resources, however energy development is fast becoming the dominate economic driver. In recent times, Chinchilla has been part of the mining boom (coal and gas) in Central Queensland which has seen roads upgraded, constant streams of trucks travelling through the town, and temporary villages of accommodation springing up to cater for the transient workers.
The development of irrigation has realised the tremendous opportunity for more intensive horticultural industries, while the water resource of the Chinchilla Weir and native timbers of the Barakula Forest provides potential for an ever expanding tourism industry.
